Pananet biz Africa is looking for a detail-oriented Operations & Finance Lead to manage our internal systems and financial health. You will be responsible for ensuring that our resources are used effectively to support our mission. This role is a hybrid of office management, financial oversight, and legal compliance, providing the stability we need to scale across the continent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting. Manage payroll and tax filings (e.g., KRA/VAT compliance).

  • Grant & Funding Administration: Track and manage funds from donors and partners, ensuring all spending aligns with grant requirements and reporting standards.

  • Operational Systems: Implement and maintain internal tools for project management, document storage, and team communication.

  • Legal & Compliance: Ensure Pananet biz Africa meets all regulatory requirements for ESOs, including business licenses and insurance.

  • Procurement: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective operations.

  • HR Administration: Assist in the recruitment process, onboarding new hires, and maintaining employee records.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years in Finance, Operations, or Administration, ideally within a non-profit or startup environment.

  • Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (CPA/ACCA) are a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books).

  • Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.

  • Integrity: Absolute transparency and honesty in managing organizational resources.
