CURRICULUM/INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

Operations
Kenya
Contract

Pananet biz Africa is seeking a creative Curriculum / Instructional Designer to build the educational "DNA" of our support programs. You will be responsible for designing engaging, scalable, and practical learning modules that help African founders master everything from product-market fit to investment readiness. Your goal is to translate complex business theory into actionable toolkits that drive real-world results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Module Development: Design end-to-end learning paths for incubation and acceleration programs, including lesson plans, slide decks, and founder workbooks.

  • Blended Learning: Create a mix of digital content (videos, interactive PDFs) and in-person workshop materials to ensure maximum accessibility for diverse learners.

  • Pedagogical Excellence: Apply adult learning principles to ensure entrepreneurs "learn by doing" rather than just passive listening.

  • Toolkit Creation: Develop standardized templates (e.g., Business Model Canvas guides, financial trackers) that founders can use immediately in their businesses.

  • Trainer Capacity Building: Create "Train-the-Trainer" guides to ensure our Business Counselors and guest mentors deliver content effectively.

  • Continuous Improvement: Use feedback from the MEL Officer to update and refine curriculum based on founder performance and market shifts.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or Curriculum Development, preferably for SMEs or Business Schools.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Articulate Rise, or Adobe Captivate, and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Business Literacy: A strong understanding of core business concepts (marketing, finance, operations) is essential to ensure the content is accurate.

  • Cultural Context: Ability to adapt international business frameworks to the specific African market realities.

  • Creativity: A knack for turning "boring" topics (like tax compliance) into engaging, gamified, or easy-to-digest contents.

Why Join Pananet biz Africa?

  • Directly shape the knowledge base of the next generation of African CEOs.

  • Opportunity to build a proprietary "Academy" model for business support.

  • Work at the intersection of education and high-growth entrepreneurship.
