Pananet biz Africa is looking for disciplined and professional Corporate Drivers to provide safe and efficient transportation for our team, visiting international partners, and guest mentors. You will also assist the Operations Lead with basic logistics, ensuring that our mobile entrepreneurship programs and field missions run smoothly. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe Transportation: Provide reliable transport for staff and stakeholders to workshops, field visits, and airport transfers.

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks on the vehicle (oil, water, tires, brakes) and ensure regular servicing and insurance renewals are handled on time.

  • Logistics Support: Assist in the delivery and pickup of program materials, documents, and equipment for events and incubation hubs.

  • Reporting: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date mileage logbook and fuel consumption records for the Finance Lead.

  • Brand Representation: Maintain a clean vehicle and professional appearance, acting as a polite and helpful representative of Pananet biz Africa.

  • Route Planning: Use GPS and local knowledge to plan the most efficient and safe routes, avoiding traffic or high-risk areas. 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience as a corporate or executive driver, preferably for a NGO, tech company, or government agency.

  • Licensing: Valid professional driving license (Class B/C/E as applicable) with a clean driving record.

  • Certifications: A valid Certificate of Good Conduct and basic First Aid training are mandatory.

  • Skills: Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues. Proficiency in using smartphone apps (WhatsApp, Google Maps).

  • Language: Fluent in English and [Local Language, e.g., Swahili/Hausa].

  • Attributes: Punctual, discreet (maintaining confidentiality of conversations in the vehicle), and highly organized.
