Pananet biz Africa is seeking a creative and engaging Communications & Community Manager to build our brand identity and cultivate a vibrant ecosystem of entrepreneurs. You will be responsible for telling our story, managing our digital presence, and ensuring that our community of founders feels supported, informed, and inspired.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Design and write compelling content for our website, newsletters, and social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) to showcase entrepreneurial impact.

  • Community Engagement: Act as the primary moderator for our founder forums (e.g., WhatsApp, Slack, or Facebook groups), fostering peer-to-peer support and networking.

  • Public Relations: Draft press releases and manage media outreach to highlight Pananet’s milestones and partnership successes.

  • Event Marketing: Lead the promotion of our webinars, workshops, and demo days to ensure high attendance and engagement.

  • Brand Advocacy: Ensure all external communications align with Pananet’s mission and visual identity.

  • Feedback Loop: Collect and analyze feedback from our community to help the Program Manager improve our services.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–4 years in Digital Marketing, Communications, or Community Management, ideally within a startup hub or tech incubator.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Canva (or Adobe Suite), social media management tools (Buffer/Hootsuite), and email marketing platforms (Mailchimp).

  • Writing Excellence: Ability to write clear, persuasive, and jargon-free copy for diverse audiences.

  • Social Intelligence: High empathy and the ability to manage diverse personalities within a professional community.

  • Portfolio: Candidates must provide links to social media accounts or campaigns they have managed previously.
